Venture Cafe is combining inspiring talks, a relaxed atmosphere, and networking opportunities. This is a low-threshold event for anyone looking to connect with the Oulu startup scene or learn more about entrepreneurship and innovation. The event series takes place every other week, with the first event scheduled for late January.

Harri Paadar is a passionate advocate for the evolution of the automotive industry – from the mechanical to the digital. With a background rooted in classic car engineering, Harri has witnessed firsthand the transformation of vehicles from combustion-powered machines to intelligent, connected systems. His talks explore how decades of innovation have shifted focus from engines to algorithms, challenging the next generation not just to build cars, but to engineer intelligence on wheels.

Harri Paadar toimii Innovation Program Managerina Kaira Clanilla. Hän on autoalan murroksen aktiivinen seuraaja ja edistäjä. Hänellä on tausta perinteisessä autotekniikassa, ja hän on nähnyt läheltä, miten autot ovat kehittyneet polttomoottoreista älykkäiksi, verkottuneiksi järjestelmiksi.
Harri saapuu Venture Cafe -tapahtuman vieraaksi to 10.4. klo 14–15 Oamkin Business Cornerille. Puheenvuorossaan hän pohtii, miten teknologinen kehitys on siirtänyt katseen moottoreista algoritmeihin – ja millaisia taitoja tulevaisuuden tekijöiltä vaaditaan, kun älykkäät järjestelmät syrjäyttävät perinteisen tekniikan.
Esitys pidetään englanniksi, mutta kysymyksiä voi esittää myös suomeksi.
