Staff development workshops and courses

The needs of an educational organisation vary a lot. You may in a situation where you want to develop your curriculum to take into account the changing needs of the working life, different types of learners or maybe it is time to offer a curriculum which takes into account the demand for digital, distance and blended learning.

What ever your school’s or college’s mission is the staff needs to be on board. Pedagogical skills including the much-talked-about pedagogical leadership and positive pedagogy are something that teachers need and want to develop throughout their career. We can partner with you to design curriculum development combined with teacher and staff training which enable your staff and institution to confidently look into future.

Here is what a short introduction to these themes could look like. The orientation in the example is competence based curriculum, digital solutions and the audience is mainly teachers/professors:

Price for a course of this type: 20 000 – 30 000€

Case: Universidad de Monterrey

With Universidad de Monterrey we delivered a two week intensive course with selected competence goals and themes to suit UDEM staff development plans and target profiles for their teachers. The course had 10 sessions, 3 hours each and lasted for two and a half weeks. There were 14 participants and the working methods included activating mini lectures, learner-based workshop and self-evaluation as well as individual development plans.

See below an example of some of the material we designed for this course. This part was on assessment and demonstrating competence.{loadmoduleid 443}
