Welcome to a training program designed for producers, offering a diverse range of studies, an international camp, and internship opportunities within the Oulu2026 projects. Participants have the flexibility to complete a study package ranging from 5 to 30 credits based on their preferences.

Detailed content and schedules for the courses will be updated during the spring of 2024. The language of the courses is Finnish.

Aim of the project

The Hybrid Event Producer 2026 project specifically addresses the strengthening of event production by promoting the skills and networking of producers and workforce recruitment in the region. The project aims to increase the availability of additional education. The project also supports the development of continuous learning structures and new learning environments (e.g., Hybrid Event Producer Camp). It advances participants’ business skills, entrepreneurship, and digital capabilities as part of hybrid producer event studies. Additionally, the project creates pathways to the workforce for participants with producer experience.

Project Actions

The main action of the project is to develop training program of 30 ECTS. The program consists of five courses and it will run twice during the project. The participants of the training program are offered an opportunity to have an internship in one of the Oulu2026 projects. The contents of the training program is based on mapping event production industry skill requirements which is one of the project actions.

Partners and Funders

The project is implemented in collaboration with Oulu University of Applied Sciences and Oulu Cultural Foundation. The project is co-financed by the European Union, and funding is granted by The Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Northern Ostrobothnia. The project is also funded by Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Oulu Culture Foundation, and the City of Oulu.
