RAPUA – Recycling and Utilization of Construction and Demolition Waste

Recycling and Utilization of Construction and Demolition Waste (RAPUA) is a project within the Oulu Ecosystem Agreement, specifically aligned with Strategic Focus Area 3: Sustainable Circular Economy and Clean Solutions. The project primarily focuses on the recycling and reuse of concrete waste. It involves conducting a comprehensive study on the circulation of concrete waste from demolition sites to the creation of new products, with the associated actions documented in a report.

The project is implemented in collaboration with the University of Oulu, Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Oamk), VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, and Oulu Vocational College (Koulutuskuntayhtymä OSAO). The main executor is the University of Oulu.
