Leading into the Future with Data Management (TIETU)
1 November 2023 - 31 October 2026
Project Objective
The goal of the project is to enhance the capabilities of actors in the Northern Ostrobothnia region to utilize digital data in strengthening their competitiveness and operations by planning and piloting a supplementary training program focused on utilizing data and leading with information. The first training session begins on January 31, 2024.
The project also aims to strengthen the expertise of regional actors in data utilization by monitoring the development of best practices and tools in information management. The collected information will be utilized in the development of training materials and content and will be published in a condensed format for practical use in the workplace. Additionally, the project’s results are intended to be disseminated to work organizations in six data-themed events, conducted in collaboration with the project partners.
The project includes the following measures:
Planning the data training program in collaboration with companies, as well as piloting and iteratively developing the training. The training consists of six different modules and is open to individuals with suitable foundational skills.
Actively collecting information from various sources on the development of best practices in data utilization and information management. Based on this information, texts and guides aimed at the workplace will be created and published on the topic.
Producing at least 20 practical development tools for data work that benefit the workplace, publishing them online for general use, and organizing at least six data-themed development events for the project’s target audience.
