Enhancing Productivity and Well-being in Kainuu through Positive Leadership (PoJo)

Research indicates that positive leadership and organization can promote employee well-being and enthusiasm, thereby enhancing the productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of organizations.

In the PoJo project, the application of positive leadership and organization was promoted in micro and small-to-medium-sized enterprises as well as public organizations. The project included regional and organization-specific training, coaching, and other expert services, and workforce and business service developers were trained to apply positive organization and leadership.

Additionally, the project established a national peer and mentoring network for positive leadership to share research findings and practical experiences in positive leadership and organization.

The ‘Enhancing Productivity and Well-being in Kainuu through Positive Leadership’ project in the Kainuu region was implemented from April 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023, and was funded by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Northern Ostrobothnia through the European Social Fund (ESF) program.

The ‘Enhancing Productivity and Well-being through Positive Leadership in the Northern Ostrobothnia Region’ project was implemented from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2022, and was also funded by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Northern Ostrobothnia.
