Lumo Light Festival
Oamk has participated in the Lumo Light Festival with its own production every year since 2016.
In 2023, Oamk participated in the Lumo Light Festival with the KEKO production
The KEKO production, a collaborative effort between Oamk’s music education, dance teaching, and communication degree programs, was part of the Lumo Light Festival’s 2023 lineup.
KEKO was a multi-layered fabric of movement, sound, and light. It was a journey through functional infrastructures, delving into the world of hierarchies and massiveness observed in nature. The production juxtaposed Asian and Northern aesthetics with intense rhythms and animality. KEKO played with forms of ecological disorder and organization.
Each participant had the opportunity to leave their mark on the final shape of the production.
KEKO took place at the Hupisaaret City Park greenhouse from November 17th to 19th, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
