AVARA is the annual flagship event of the Oamk’s Arts Innovation research program bringing together a unique interdisciplinary community of art, culture and tech professionals with a focus on the intersection of arts, innovation, emerging technologies and social impact. In the year 2024 the event focuses on the theme of wellbeing.
The event invites the participants to join keynotes, discussions, workshops, co-design sessions, and performances related to new technologies and wellbeing. Professionals from diverse countries will showcase projects, share best practices, and highlight the latest developments in the field of art and technology.
AVARA takes place every year in Oulu as a side event of the City of Oulu’s LUMO light festival in November.
