Kontinkangas campus: campus services

A variety of services accompany studying and working on Kontinkangas campus.

Compass Group Amica operates on the campus.
Restaurant Alwari’s contact information and opening hours are on its website.

Health and Social Care Library offers library services for the needs of research, teaching and studying at Oulu University of Applied Sciences and the University of Oulu.

Academic Affairs offers our students services throughout study time. Academic affairs office is at the main lobby of Louhi in the room A1194 which is near to the door to D wing.

ICT services shared by Oamk and the University of Oulu are responsible for IT services. In-person support for students and personnel is located on the first floor of the C wing.

Office attendant services are available in the main lobbies of Louhi and Paasi. The opening hours are from 8 a.m. to 15.45 p.m. Office attendants are responsible for parking permits, administering keys, IDs and access rights.

The campus and its surroundings are under the surveillance of the Poko Oy 24/7.

ISS Palvelut Oy is responsible for cleaning, property maintenance and maintenance of outdoor areas at Kontinkangas campus.

Security checks, exit drills and sheltering in-place drills are organised regularly on campus. The Secapp system is used in emergencies. In a crisis situation, always call the emergency number 112 first and act according to the provided instructions. In an emergency, the place of assembly is the car park on Rauhanyhdistys.

Oamk’s facilities on Kontinkangas have their own rescue plan. A regular user of the facilities should know the contents of the rescue plan so that, in an emergency, they can also instruct visitors.
