The Idea Workshop generates solution proposals for the practical needs of users and professionals in social and health services. A company or organization brings a need proposal to the Idea Workshop for a possible new product or service, or for the renewal of an existing product or service. Participants in the Idea Workshop produce solution proposals. The duration of the Idea Workshop is tailored to the needs of the client.

• A thematic Idea Workshop lasting approximately two hours, with participants invited in advance
• Participants represent potential user groups, students from various degree programs at Oamk, and representatives from the workforce
• The planning and facilitation of the Idea Workshop are handled by an expert from Oamk.

Delivery time: Approximately one month.

The company provides material in advance about the prototype or product they have developed and receives feedback from an expert panel at Oamk. A representative of the company may participate in the feedback session with the panel or the feedback can be provided in writing.

3. We sign the contract.

The product testing is planned together with the client and carried out in a suitable SimLab testing environment or in another agreed environment suitable for the product. Testing can be implemented in various ways, for example, integrated into education.

The company brings the finished product or device to the showroom for a specified period for demonstration and trial. The company receives feedback on the usability of the device.

The price of the service is agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.

Simulation is an effective learning environment! In simulation, in addition to learning and developing clinical skills, multidisciplinary teamwork, communication, and leadership skills are enhanced. The training situation is confidential, positive, and open.

In the simulation learning environment, training is designed in collaboration with the client organization from the working life, based on the current competence and development needs of the workplace. In workplace simulation exercises, the goals focus on smooth leadership and teamwork in addition to clinical objectives. Each individual’s skills are utilized, enhancing team performance and the quality of care. Simulation can, for example, be used to test and develop protocols for acute situations.

In simulation, the learning situation is based on a real-life patient, customer, or accident scenario. The training is set with both clinical and group-related objectives.

Simulation studio spaces are rented out for conducting in-house training sessions and for producing marketing materials, such as practicing multidisciplinary teamwork for companies and organizational teams in various service environments.

• Seven simulation studios with audiovisual connections to debriefing rooms
• Control rooms for simulation operation
• Approximately 10 state-of-the-art patient simulators of different ages (birthing mother, newborn baby, child, and adult)
• Five debriefing group rooms for simultaneous observation and post-session discussions

The studios can be combined and adapted flexibly into different training spaces, ranging from individual patient scenarios to disaster and emergency drills. The training environments can simulate settings such as homes, daycares, hospitals, health centers, or accident scenes.

• The studio and its fixed equipment and supplies are available for four hours.
• The client plans and provides any additional materials themselves.
• The client records marketing material in the simulation studio.
