Copying media files from Yuja to Panopto ends on February 15, 2025

The University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences are switching their media management system from Yuja to Panopto. Panopto has been available to users from January 20, 2025, and the use of Yuja will end on March 24, 2025.

Currently, the file transfer is in progress and targets content created in Yuja before December 1, 2024. The last contents to be copied from Yuja to Panopto by the service providers will target files created in Yuja between 1.12.2024 and 15.2.2025. 

It is recommended to start creating all new materials to Panopto immediately, as content created in Yuja after 15.2.2025 is user’s own responsibility.

The copied videos will be visible in Panopto by March at the latest. 

• Log in with your university username and password at https://oulu.cloud.panopto.eu. Select “Using Moodle account” as the login method. For the login to work, you must have logged into the Moodle of Oulu higher education institutions at least once.
• When accessed through Moodle, the service works without a separate login, and we recommend using Panopto primarily through Moodle.

• Panopto’s settings will be modified and functionality adjusted to the other operating environment during the spring of 2025. At the same time, the instructions will be updated and developed.
