Campus services

A variety of services accompany studying and working on campus.

There are several lunch restaurants on campus. Contact details and opening hours for the restaurants are available on the restaurants’ websites.

Café Messi is located on the second floor of the 7A wing. Oamk’s hoodies can be purchased from the Sluuppi store, located on the second floor of the 5D wing. 

Science library Pegasus offers library services for the needs of research, teaching and studying at Oulu University of Applied Sciences and the University of Oulu.

Students’ training services are located on the first floor of the 7C wing. Training services are responsible for services for education and students at Oulu University of Applied Sciences and the University of Oulu. Training services support education programmes in student selections, study right matters and planning and implementing trainings.

ICT services shared by Oamk and the University of Oulu are responsible for IT services. In-person support for students and personnel is located on the first floor of the 7D wing.

Office attendant services are available in the campus area’s atrium. The nearest office attendant service point is in the lobby at Pegasus, phone 050 472 8285. The opening hours are from 8 a.m. to 15.45 p.m. Office attendants are responsible for administering keys, IDs and access rights.

The campus and its surroundings are under the surveillance of the University of Oulu’s security services 24/7.

ISS Palvelut Oy is responsible for cleaning, property maintenance and maintenance of outdoor areas at Linnanmaa campus.

Security checks, exit drills and sheltering in-place drills are organised regularly on campus. The Secapp system is used in emergencies. In a crisis situation, always call the emergency number 112 first and act according to the provided instructions. In an emergency, the place of assembly is the car park on Biologintie.

Oamk’s facilities in Linnanmaa have their own rescue plan. A regular user of the facilities should know the contents of the rescue plan so that, in an emergency, they can also instruct visitors.
