Art and culture

Art creates and sustain rich cultural life. Our goal is to create an inspiring cultural ecosystem where both staff and students can live in close collaboration with national and global operators, develop their work and gain positive visibility to Oulu University of Applied Sciences.

Art and culture

Artistic activities are particularly prominent within the School of Well-being and Culture, manifesting in various productions, for instance. Artistic activities annually contribute significantly to Oamk’s publications, realized both as part of education and as outcomes of the staff’s own artistic ambitions. Artistic productions, such as stage performances and exhibitions, are carried out in collaboration with, among others, local cultural actors as well as Finnish and international universities and public organizations.
