Do you need more information about educational opportunities? We here in Oamk offer you free personal guidance about higher education in Finland!
SIMHE-Oamk offers guidance for the immigrants living in the area of Northern Finland. SIMHE-Oamk provides personal guidance related to study opportunities for immigrants interested in higher education studies. The guidance services are available also for all immigrants with higher education background.
Oulu University of Applied Sciences offers SIMHE (Supporting Immigrants in Higher Education in Finland) services for recognizing prior learning and competence of highly educated immigrants. SIMHE services are funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture. SIMHE services are also available in Metropolia, Karelia and Oulu Universities of Applied Sciences and in the Universities of Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Turku and Tampere.
The guidance and counselling services of SIMHE-Oamk consist of information sharing on the higher education system in Finland and on the application opportunities and practices.
