The mission of service activities of the Oulu University of Applied Sciences School of Health and Social Care is to provide students in the school's degree programmes with diverse learning experiences and residents in the area with appropriate health and social care services supported by experienced supervisors/teachers.
The services meet the needs of various customer groups and students at various stages in their studies. The competencies of the students will be taken into account when drawing up cooperation agreements and allocating supervisory resources. The aim is to provide students with an opportunity to participate together with customers and teachers in the planning and assessment of their own activities and learning. Learning is made possible through multiform projects and research projects.
The service activities comply with the generally accepted operating models and ethical principles of the health and social care sector, the university of applied sciences and health and social care professionals. The key operating principle and learning target is internal quality assurance.
