Welcome to an intensive course at Oulu UAS to find out how! You will be trained by a world-class expert of integrated marketing, Mr. Mansoor Siddiqi (MBA).




The course introduces you to effective means of tackling the challenges of entering the global market with technology-enabled consumer products. The focus is on consumer products utilising printed intelligence. All you need as a prerequisite is basic knowledge about technology-enabled consumer products and a passion in printed electronics.

About the educator

Mansoor Siddiqi

Mansoor has extensive experience in the field of integrated marketing communication, having worked closely with global and local advertising and media agency networks, as well as community-engagement initiatives such as water and energy conservation projects as well as grassroots sports and educational programs for schoolchildren.

Over his 16 years with The Coca-Cola Company (1995–2011), Mansoor led several innovation projects in global markets across Asia-Pacific, North America and Africa, spanning diverse domains from new product development to packaging, retail merchandising, point-of-sale and cooling-vending equipment to brand promotions, event presence and digital marketing.

Prior to his stint with Coca-Cola, he picked up the fundamentals of advertising and communication planning (1990–1995) at Leo Burnett, Lowe-Lintas & McCann-Erickson. Since 2011, he has focused his efforts on ‘open innovation’ projects for the food and beverage industry with clients such as Hershey’s, Perdue Farms, Chicken of the Sea, Coca-Cola and Quaker Oats.

Mansoor holds a Bachelor's degree in Science and an MBA in Marketing.


About the course

Course language and material:

Venue: Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Kotkantie 1, 90250 Oulu

Price: 400 euros per person (no VAT; course materials and coffee included). With de minimis support the price will be 180 euros per person (for more information, see below). 

Lunch is self-financed. A delicious buffet at the campus restaurants Kultturelli or Kotkanpoika costs about 10 euros per person.

The course is part of the Rapid Apps for Printed Electronics project organised by the Oulu University of Applied Sciences and funded by the European Social Fund, the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre), Northern Ostrobothnia, and the City of Oulu. The course is under the de minimis legislation of the European Union.

Note: Part of the course fee can be covered with de minimis support which is 220 euros per person.  After the de minimis support, the price of the course is 180 euros (0 % VAT) per person. If the company is not eligible for the support, the price is 400 euros (0 % VAT) per person.

De minimis support does not apply to RDI staff and teachers in public organisations responsible for education and research (i.e. universities). The price for this group will be 180 euros per person (0 % VAT).
