Performing Arts

Make the world go sound! Dance to advance!

The department of media and performing arts offers exchange programmes in English in the fields of music and dance during 2019-2020. You can also study Finnish Survival Course! It may be also possible to pursue interdisciplinary project studies in Oamk LABs, possibly Oulu DevLAB, if suitable. Information for 2020-2021 will be published here in March 2020.

For more information on the studies and courses offered in music and dance, consult the section below to obtain Excel files of the respective exchange study programme according to the group code given below.

All courses listed are instructed in English. N.B.! Only courses from one programme can be taken due to timetabling constraints.

Dance Anthropology in Spring 2019

Short-term Exchange Programme in Dance Anthropology for Students from Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Stockholm University, 25 February - 1 March 2019.

The programme is jointly organised by the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Oamk), and it will take place on Oamk's Kotkantie campus. It comprises studies in dance anthropology with the scope of max. 15 ECTS cr.

The studies are offered in the frame of the educational cooperation agreement between Stockholm University, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and the aforementioned higher education institutions in Oulu.
